  • You dive into the engineering process, from brainstorming and conceptualization to prototyping and ultimately bringing these innovative machines to life.

  • Passionate about pushing the boundaries in designing and programming complex multi-disciplinary machines combining motion and vision!
  • Degree in Computer Science, ICT, Software or Automation Engineering with a focus on computer vision, image processing, or machine learning.
  • Proficient in programming languages commonly used in vision engineering, such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB, with expertise in developing and optimizing algorithms for image processing, object detection, and classification.
  • Demonstrate expertise in utilizing vision libraries and frameworks, such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, to implement advanced vision algorithms and techniques, enabling robust and accurate analysis of visual data.
  • Strong understanding of hardware components commonly used in vision systems, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and image sensors, with the ability to select and integrate components to meet project requirements
  • Experience with designing and deploying vision systems for fast real-time industrial applications demonstrating an ability to address real-world challenges in manufacturing, in-line quality control, and automation.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols commonly used in vision systems, such as GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, and Camera Link is an asset
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, to train and deploy machine learning models for vision-based tasks, such as object detection, segmentation, and recognition is an asset.
  • Interest in software development methodologies and tools for version control (e.g., Git), issue tracking (e.g., JIRA), and CI/CD pipelining.
  • Eager to deploy your software to the real machine, brave enough to solve the hassles that comes with it and ready to party when your see it in action!
  • Experience with Beckhoff as automation platform and their software tools is considered a plus! (TwinCAT 3/Motion/HMI/Vision/...)
  • You are very hands-on and pragmatic. You have many DIY projects.
  • You are flexible, you have no problems with adapting new plans. Design complex machines is fun, but also unpredictable!
  • You can handle pressure because honestly, we work hard!
