REQUIREMENTS

- Passionate about pushing the boundaries in designing and programming complex multi-disciplinary machines combining motion and vision!
- Degree in Computer Science, ICT, Software or Automation Engineering demonstrating a solid foundation in IoT principles, networking, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in IoT development, such as Python, C/C++, Java, or JavaScript, with expertise in developing software for embedded devices and IoT gateways.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of IoT protocols and communication standards, including MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP/IP, with experience in implementing secure and reliable communication channels for IoT devices and sensors.
- Experience with IoT platforms and frameworks, such as AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT, or IBM Watson IoT, demonstrating an ability to leverage cloud-based services and APIs to build scalable and interoperable IoT solutions.
- Familiarity to develop and deploy IoT applications at the edge for low-latency processing, real-time analytics, and local decision-making.
- Interest to design user interfaces and dashboards for monitoring and controlling IoT systems with tools like (Node-Red, Grafana, ThingSpeak,...)
- Interest in software development methodologies and tools for version control (e.g., Git), issue tracking (e.g., JIRA), and CI/CD pipelining.
- Eager to deploy your software to the real machine, brave enough to solve the hassles that comes with it and ready to party when your see it in action!
- You are very hands-on and pragmatic. You have many DIY projects.
- You are flexible, you have no problems with adapting new plans. Design complex machines is fun, but also unpredictable!
- You can handle pressure because honestly, we work hard!
