Long story short
Drive past a real estate sign placed in or against a window and you will usually see a plain paper or plastic sign: eye-catching by day, but invisible as soon as it gets dark. Right when people walk or cycle down the street after work, the sign disappears into the dark, while that is exactly when it should be visible: in the evening, when most people pass by. For a real estate agent, that is a missed opportunity: precisely the people who have time to look never see the property. Verlicht V-bord, the idea of an innovative real estate agent, set out to change that.
What does this mean for you?
Do you have a strong idea of your own that is still stuck between sketch and working prototype? CTRL engineering builds the first working prototype and then guides the step towards a product that can be produced at scale.
The challenge
That real estate agent saw a clear gap in the market: a real estate sign that also stands out in the evening and at night. And the idea could not remain a sketch: it had to be made market-ready for real estate agencies that want to deploy it at scale.
Our approach
CTRL engineering built the first working prototype: a V-shaped sign, connected via a power cable and lit with LEDs. Today, CTRL engineering also guides the company through industrialisation, the step from one working concept to a product that can be produced at scale, with a business model based on rental and maintenance contracts.
“From sketch to working prototype in a matter of weeks, that is exactly what we were looking for.”
The result
Up to 50% more visibility for the real estate agency and the property, day and night.
